As a classically trained violinist, I developed a propensity for creative thinking, precision and attention to detail. These skills serve me well in the practice of law where I strive to provide clients with effective and efficient representation and search for practical solutions to complex problems.
I joined J Peterman Legal Group Ltd. in 2015 to sharpen my focus on civil litigation and creditors’ rights. Prior to joining the firm, I spent five years as in-house counsel for a financial institution. My corporate experience gives me a unique perspective on how to handle real estate, contract, bankruptcy and employment law issues.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Carthage College – double major in Music and Psychology followed by my Juris Doctor degree from Hamline University School of Law. Currently, I am a licensed member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and I am admitted to practice in the State Courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
Last but not least – it’s safe to assume that since I am born and raised in Wisconsin, I am quite an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Almost goes without saying!
